Envisaged as a powerful symbol for the Tolaram Group who have developed the largest deep-sea portand the accompanying SEZ on the African peninsula in Lagos, Nigeria. The form has evolved from thevision of a stack of ship containers which eventually express themselves as glass surfaces. The resultingglass volume has masses removed to create “Breakout Spaces” which break the bounding boxpunctuating it with greenery. Vertical metal fins of varying colors harken back to the vertical corrugationon container walls and the verticals on ship masts further accentuating randomness within the well-defined volume. The glass volume, floats like a ship over an expansive green wall that visually shields themultilevel car parking.
